Wikipedia discribe this place as following: The Externsteine [ˈɛkstɐnʃtaɪnə] are a distinctive rock formation located in the district of Lippe within the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, not far from the city of Detmold at Horn-Bad Meinberg. The formation is a tor consisting of several tall, narrow columns of rock which rise abruptly from the surrounding wooded hills. The name probably means "star stones of the Egge", stern meaning star, steine meaning stones, and Egge meaning ridge.

So I travelled roundabout 300 miles to take shots at a very sunny and warm november day.
